Paula Chermela

Paula Chermela is a passionate professional with an eye for all things human resources and employment law. As Market Scan’s Vice President of People, her role includes creating a strong internal foundation that directly translates to improved service, satisfaction for customers and the overall success of the organization and employee well-being. She has worked with Market Scan for five years and oversees recruiting, employee relations, mentoring, career development, internal recognition, culture, community engagement, forecasting and planning. With a career dedicated to mentoring individuals and fostering a positive workplace culture, Chermela carries more than 24 years of experience assisting companies in navigating the complexities of employee relations and compliance. Alongside her vast experience with human resources, including through her work in the startup and health industries, she is a law school graduate and became a member of the California State Bar in 2000. Chermela was involved in various local community boards, including Thousand Oaks Little League, National Charity League, LA Galaxy, The Backpack Fund and the Viper Soccer Club.
